A one-off session to work from a single, extended 3-hour pose with our model Berenice dressed in a sophisticated and colourful outfit.
Join us for an evening of style, grace and beauty as Audrey and Berenice create a tableau vivant with a costumed model, lighting and props. All you have to do is paint the picture. This way of working with a clothed model forces the artist to think more about narrative and composition, harmony, drama, texture, colour – and less about anatomy and proportion. It leads us to think about image making in a different way. Berenice has her nose in the dressing up box and Audrey is ready to arouse you creatively – we look forward to seeing you there.
All levels welcome. Whether you’re an experienced painter or have never attempted a long pose before, this is a special opportunity to spend some focused time drawing and painting from life.
We provide easels and drawing boards. Bring your favourite materials!
