As our Autumn Term begins on Monday, September 9th, we’d like to open our studios to all creatives and artists who are curious about our courses and would like to learn more about our creative community and what we offer. From meeting our talented tutors to participating in a free session and a special workshops, this is the perfect opportunity for artists of all levels to explore new techniques, gain insights, and connect with a vibrant community. AN INTRODUCTION TO LIFE DRAWING
Monday, September 2nd ~ 7.00pm-9.00pm

Working from the nude model we explore a variety of drawing methods with tutor Audrey Fattouche and you will discover what works for you. We have a demonstration early on in the evening which will introduce a technique or key concept. For beginners this can form the structure for progressive learning, for the more experienced it’s always good to be reminded or just to dust down old skills. If you’re a complete beginner we recommend joining for the full twelve weeks.
PAINTING IN OILS with CLARE HAWARD

Artist Clare Haward will talk about her process, materials and demonstrate her approach to painting working from still life. You’ll also have the opportunity to try your hand at painting.
AN INTRODUCTION TO FIGURE PAINTING WORKSHOP

Making the jump from drawing to painting can be a bit daunting and yet for many it is the natural progression of their interest in describing the human figure. No one is going to learn to paint competently in four hours and yet that is precisely the amount of time that we will give you to grasp the fundamentals – it’s enough to get you going.
